LDN -- Top Stories

Meet Brenden Wurth, a Fifth-grader at Chester-East Lincoln School, and a member of the Beason Ag 4-H Club.  This year Brenden made a wooden American Flag for his 4-H project for the Logan County Fair. Since then, the flag, which was made proportionally correct, has garnered some favorable attention. In October, the flag was the centerpiece for the monthly window display at the Logan County Genealogical and Historical Society. The flag tour will now move on to the Lincoln College-Lincoln Heritage Museum. Recently Mary Ellen Martin of the LCG&HS presented Brenden with a certificate of appreciation for his patriotism and for sharing his artwork with the public.
