On Saturday morning at Eminence Christian Church, local veteran's stand for the Pledge of Allegiance before enjoying a hearty breakfast served in their honor by the church's Mission Team and other volunteers. This is the second year that local veterans, including several who reside at the Christian Village in Lincoln, were invited to the church for breakfast. The morning began at 9 a.m. and included a large breakfast, music from a Lincoln Christian University trio, and closing remarks by Pastor LC Sutton.

Late last week the Logan County Arts opened their final show of the year, which is also a shopping opportunity. Visitors to the gallery may find a piece they wish to purchase to enhance their home decor, or to give as a Christmas gift.
