LDN -- Top Stories

Monday, July 8, 2019 was the first day of demolition of the old part of Mount Pulaski High School located at 206 South Spring Street in Mount Pulaski. Core Construction of Morton, Illinois is in charge of the project and crews arrived on site with two excavators Monday morning.

The crews began on the west side of the building and headed east inside the fence that was put up alongside Cooke Street.

Before noon word spread around town that the demolition had begun and a small crowd gathered to video the falling bricks.
