On
Wednesday morning Kelly Miller-Elias, Logan County Deputy Circuit
Clerk announced that she will be seeking election to the office
being vacated by Circuit Clerk Mary Kelley in 2020. Miller-Elias was
hired by Kelley in 2010 and worked into the deputy position where
she has enjoyed working for and beside Kelley for the past nine
years. Kelley is endorsing Miller-Elias for the seat. If additional
candidates announce their run for the office, then a primary
election early in 2020 will determine the party candidate, who will
then be placed on the November General Election Ballot.

youth clinic and used glove giveaway on Saturday,
September 7, 2019. The clinic will be held at the
Lincoln College Softball Field from 9-noon and will be
for kids K-4th grade. Registration is limited to the
first 40 kids that sign up and each child will receive a
free used ball glove.
