As a community we need to be able to talk openly about matters that affect the quality of our lives. The most effective and least offensive manner to get your point across is to stick to the issue and refrain from commenting on another person's opinion. Letters that deviate from focusing on the issue may be rejected or edited and marked as such.

Lincoln Railer Basketball, what could have been...

To the editor:

I was very impressed with the article in the paper from Teena & others about the Railer Basketball Team, I usually follow them in the paper. I just wonder what could’ve been but I understand how the young men feel but yet I don’t.

I also went to a game at ISU to watch a 1A team Roanoke-Benson that was 1 win shy of perfection with only one lost. I’m sure they could relate with the Lincoln Railers.
