 To the editor:I am writing
to offer my wholehearted support for Kelly Elias, the Republican
candidate for the Logan County Circuit Clerk.
I have known Kelly for 27 years, first as a mom of my daughter’s
classmate, then as our daughter’s babysitter and now as a friend.
During that time, I’ve had numerous opportunities to serve with
Kelly on school committees and community events. I most admire Kelly
for her generosity, intelligence, and dedication to a good cause.
She is well-liked and respected in our community and holds strong
family values. Kelly has a common-sense approach and drive needed to
make a difference in our county.

Over these past weeks, the public and I have had
the opportunity to observe and evaluate the perspectives and agendas
of the various candidates in the upcoming election. Kelly’s
experience, insight into our community, and willingness to examine
the issues and listen closely to the public’s questions and concerns
sets her far apart from the other candidate.
Again, I want to express my support and enthusiasm for her campaign
and my intention both to vote for her and the upcoming election and
to spread word to others of the value of her abilities.
