Once again this year, horse-drawn carriage rides will return to downtown Lincoln during the Christmas season. Red Gate Farms from Petersburg will be providing rides on Friday nights on November 27th, December 11th, and December 18th.

The rides are just a small portion of what is being planned in Lincoln this year. The holiday celebration begins with the Winter Wonderland tree lighting ceremony on November 27th. Christmas Express events and activities will continue into December. The announcement of this year's Gingerbread contest winner and the winner of a gift basket valued at more than $500 will come on Friday, December 18th. The trees will continue to be on display around the Logan County Courthouse until New Year's Eve.

In today's edition, LDN brings you details about all the great activities to celebrate the Christmas season in Lincoln. Be sure to check it out.

Statewide, bars are at 5 percent, restaurants just above 4 percent, and retail is sitting at 2.5 percent of the total outbreak locations.
