The
eagles have returned to the Lincoln area. Last week LDN's roaming
reporter got word from Bob Elshoff of Crawford, Murphy & Tilly that
two eagles were in a tree along Interstate 55 on the west side of
the city.
Fox went out to take a look and, of course, grab a shot. Fox said on
that day the eagles were just hanging out. He looked, but said that
there was no nest...yet. Hopefully, if there isn't one now, there
will be soon.
The eagles have been coming to Logan County for the last few years.
LDN receives numerous reports of locations where readers have spied
the magnificent birds.
