Logan County Tourism Bureau

Logan County Genealogical & Historical Society

Lincoln Rotary

The Logan County Tourism Bureau, Logan County Genealogical & Historical Society and the Lincoln Rotary are the Paint the Paper Pink pictures today. These three groups represent individuals who have come together to achieve goals specific to their organizations.

They don't have to do what they do, but they feel that it is necessary and a way that they can serve the community.

When a person is dealing with cancer, it is good to know there is a group out there made up of people who know and understand your feelings and concerns and will help you work through them.

Support groups are good, even if you have a great support group in your family. Sometimes you can express feelings and fears in a group that you don't want to burden your family with, yet you need to voice somewhere.

The American Cancer Society offers virtual or online support groups and chat rooms. There are also various support groups within the Logan County community. These groups will welcome you and help you work through all that you are feeling right now.

Though Thursday evening of last week was a rainy day, the skies did dry up for a time in the evening during the Lincoln Memorial Hospital Community Health Collaborative Health Expo.

The drive-thru event featured several "exhibits" from the back of vehicles all around the Oasis Senior Center Building. The day's last stop was to get annual flu shots if desired, administered by the Logan County Department of Public Health.
