The Campbell Creekside Outdoor Center for Environmental Education will host its final Spring Open House as a unit of Lincoln College this Saturday, April 23rd, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The day will be filled with vendors, educational tours, and lots of other activities to make this year special.

The public is invited to attend this free event co-hosted by Lincoln College and the Lincoln Park District.

Three thousand plastic eggs filled with candy and prizes made up the booty children made a mad dash to collect this past Saturday morning at Latham Park.

The egg hunt event was sponsored by the Salt Creek A.B.A.T.E. and included some really big prizes for the lucky kids who snatched up those special eggs. Among the prizes were10 bicycles, 10 new bike helmets and five giant stuffed Easter Bunnies and other cuddly stuffed animals.
