On Sunday afternoon, Gail Ubbenga was the top winner at the annual Logan County Fair Cake Classic. Her winning recipe was for her White Butter Cake.

Her cake and six others were auctioned off to the highest bidder or sometimes bidders, with the proceeds going directly to the Logan County 4-H Foundation to support future programs.

Gail's cake sold twice. The first buyer was Jim Xamis at $1,500 and the second buyer was Stacy Goodman with a winning bid of $1,200.

This year's auction broke another record, reaching an astounding total of $6,400 for seven cakes.
