Friday morning, the winds died down and the sun came up,
creating a lovely serenity on the prairies of Logan
County. Thanks to Melissa Smith for sharing this photo.
In stark contrast, this
photo taken by Marcus Hoock shows just how nasty the
weather of the last few days has been and the problems
it caused for area motorists.
Thanks so much to all the readers who have sent photos
of the snow in their area. Lincoln Daily News will have
a collection of those photos in today's edition, with
