On  Saturday scouts from the Mount Pulaski Troop 122 took time out from a busy day in the kitchen for a group photo.

The scouts hosted a sandwich sale and tractor show at the Lake Fork Community Center and enjoyed a good day with plenty of tractors and plenty of hungry visitors.

The public is invited to a ribbon-cutting event this Friday at 3:30 p.m. at the new Top of the 19th restaurant at the Elks Golf Club.

The new restaurant owned by Janell Woolard will be a unique dining experience with great American contemporary food and a special atmosphere with just a touch of sophistication.

The restaurant is open to the public. After the ribbon-cutting, the restaurant's grand opening will commence with a special ceremony led by Woolard.
