Lincoln College has notified the Illinois Board of Higher Education and Higher Learning Commission of the local private college's permanent closure, effective May 13, 2022.

Ally Twente and Missy Lock invite the community to join them for an open house, ribbon-cutting ceremony and education day celebrating the new "The Title Center" offices in Lincoln on Wednesday, April 6th.

The open house will begin at 9 a.m. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at 9:45 a.m. Title insurance classes will be conducted at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. for those wishing to learn more about the process.

The Title Center is located at 120 South McLean Street in Lincoln.

Due to inclement weather the construction start date for the second Veteran Tiny Home in Lincoln has been rescheduled from Saturday, April 2nd to Sunday April 3rd commencing at 8 a.m.

There will be no ground breaking ceremony for the second home.
