On
Saturday afternoon, the Lincoln Rural Fire Protection
District, with assistance from the Lincoln City,
Atlanta, New Holland, Middletown, Hartsburg, Emden and
Mount Pulaski fire departments, responded to a garage
fire on Oakwood Drive, rural Lincoln. Also on scene to
assist were the Logan Count Paramedics and Logan County
Sheriff's department. Logan EMA and Logan 911 dispatch
also aided in the response.

Friday evening, people swarmed into Lincoln to the heart
of the city for the first Third Friday Downtown event of
the summer. With a theme focused on bugs and
butterflies, many vendors and activities included our
flying friends in their offerings to visitors.
