A new company is coming to Lincoln and is already working within the city limits. The i3 Broadband will install underground fiber-optic lines to deliver internet, television and telephone services to city residents.

Tuesday night, company representatives Josh Bradbury and Kristi Wall addressed the Lincoln City Council, explaining the company's history and the work already ongoing in Lincoln. The company plans to have all the fiber-optic lines installed this year and will begin offering services as work is completed in individual neighborhoods.

The map provided by the company shows the areas in red as being places where work is underway. The blue outlines show the areas where work will be conducted soon.

Residents will be notified by mail when the company is prepared to move into a new area.
