The
Central Illinois Veterans Commission is pleased to
announce the third veteran tiny home in Lincoln is
completed, and a veteran has been chosen as the home
recipient.
The community is invited to join the CIVC Thursday at 6
p.m. at 310 South College Street for the official key
presentation and ribbon cutting ceremony. The new home
recipient is Army veteran Luevonia 'Gale" Ragsdale.

Last
On Saturday evening, Chris Graue (left), owner of Graue,
Inc. in Lincoln, shared a moment with retiring employee
Don Jordan at the Spirited Republic. A reception was
being held in Jordan's honor celebrating his 90th
birthday and his retirement from Graue after a nearly
30-year career.
The popular gathering place on the south side of the
Logan County Courthouse Square was packed shoulder to
shoulder with guests there for the same reason, to show
their love and respect for Jordan as he opens a new
chapter in his life called retirement.
