It's time to Fall Back!

Before you sleep tonight, remember to set your clocks back one hour.

Country Aire Restaurant is one of the many businesses and organizations in Logan County that took on the Pink Challenge in October, hosting their own in-house fundraisers for the American Cancer Society.

For Country Aire it was a donation day where that a percentage of the proceeds for the day’s receipts was given to the fundraiser. In addition, this year there was a pink pumpkin pail placed at the cash register where patron could drop their pocket change as they left the restaurant.

Late last week, Nick Bekteshi, owner of Country Aire presented the restaurant’s donation of $249.28 to Chassidy White of Lincoln Daily News. LDN on the whole is a member of the Friends and Family Relay for Life team. The money donated will go directly to the ACS via the relay team.
