Today the featured Pink Shirt
picture to raise awareness for breast cancer is
Small Town Creations in Lincoln.
We’re going to draw just a bit on the name of this
popular business in the heart of the city. “Small
Town” is an important part of our lifestyle in
Lincoln. People know people, friendships develop
between business owners and their customers because
it is a small town, and those people are our
neighbors.
Being a part of a smaller community has many
blessings including the fact that when one of us is
hurting, the entire community is there to support
us. When folks wear their pink, like our friends at
Small Town Creations, it is real. They really do
care for those who are battling all kinds of cancer
and want you to know that you are not alone. You are
loved and prayed for daily.

On Saturday, October 5th, Lindsay
McCloughan and Sommer Henrickson snipped the ribbon
on their new combined business in downtown Lincoln.
McCloughan has relocated her store, Wild Petals from
Keokuk Street to Broadway Street in the heart of the
city. Joining her, Henrickson is opening her second
Jerzi Rae’s store with her first one remaining in
Williamsville.
