On Thursday, December 11th, Lincoln Daily News
hosted the class of 2026 Land of Lincoln CEO (Center
for Entrepreneurial Opportunities) students. LDN
owners Karen Castelein and Nila Smith spoke with the
three students about the value of advertising in
managing a small business and how to write effective
press releases. Following those discussions, the two
shared some of their experiences, including the
rewards and challenges of being a small business
owner in Logan County.
The students shared details of the business projects
they have completed to date and talked about their
plans for the LLCEO Tradeshow that will take place
at the end of the school year.
