            "Josie" Ritchhart Joan
            C. "Josie" Ritchhart, 66, of Lincoln and Lake of the
            Ozarks, Osage Beach, Mo., died at 6:25 a.m. Wednesday, March 15,
            2000, at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Lincoln. Funeral
            services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 18, at the First
            Presbyterian Church in Lincoln, with the Rev. Paul Gilmore
            officiating. Burial
            will be in New Union Cemetery, Lincoln. Visitation
            will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Holland & Barry Funeral Home
            in Lincoln. She
            was a retired elementary vocal music teacher. She had taught in the
            Lincoln, Atlanta, Elkhart, Chestnut and Mount Pulaski school
            districts. She
            was born Feb. 27, 1934, in Lincoln, a daughter of Erwin C. and Ella
            E. (Gluick) Gehlbach. She married Ronald R. Ritchhart June 1, 1958,
            in Lincoln. He survives. Other
            survivors include sisters-in-law, Norma Jean Berglin, Nancy (and
            Dick) Treatch, Pat Shay, Janet "Pete" (and John) Smiley,
            all of Lincoln; and Norma Jean "Mackie" Ritchhart of
            Springfield; and a brother-in-law, Jack (and Shirley) Ritchhart of
            Lincoln. Also
            surviving are her godmother/aunt, Esther Wilham of Peoria; 22 nieces
            and nephews, 38 great-nieces and nephews; and an extended family,
            Rhoda and Martha Holland of Lincoln. She
            was preceded in death by her parents; her stepmother, Fredericka
            Gehlbach; and two brothers, Marlin and Elwin Gehlbach. She
            graduated from Lincoln Community High School in 1952 and from
            Millikin University with a bachelor of science degree in music
            education in 1956. She did post-graduate work at the University of
            Illinois in Champaign, and at the University of Northern Colorado in
            Greeley, Colo. She
            was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Lincoln; a member and
            past president of the Lincoln Zonta Club; a member of the Daughters
            of the Nile, Abeba Temple #42, Springfield; Lincoln Chapter #351
            Order of the Eastern Star; the Lincoln American Legion Post #263
            Auxiliary; the Lincoln V.F.W. Post #1756 Auxiliary; the
            Lincoln/Logan County Cancer Support Group; the Lincoln/Logan County
            Reach for Recovery; the American Quilters Society; the Susan Komen
            Breast Cancer Membership Foundation; and the Lincoln Community
            Concert Association. Memorials

            Nonn Alastair
            Owein Nonn, 9, of Lincoln, died at 8:04 a.m. Wednesday, March 15,
            2000, at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Lincoln. Cremation
            rites were accorded, and a family committal of ashes will be at 1
            p.m. Saturday, March 18, at Jacksonville Memorial Cemetery in
            Jacksonville. He
            was born April 9, 1990 at San Antonio, Texas, a son of Richard and
            Lynne (Shaw) Nonn. He
            is survived by his parents, Richard and Lynne Nonn of Lincoln; one
            sister, Carla Jane Kennedy of Las Vegas, Nev.; his paternal
            grandmother, Mrs. Ruth Nonn of Waverly; his maternal grandmother,
            Mrs. Joan Shaw of Minehead, England; and six aunts (12 in the U.S.
            and four in England). He
            was preceded in death by two brothers, Stuart Thomas Nonn and Samuel
            Jacob Nonn. Memorials
            may be made to the family of Alastair O. Nonn.   
 Hildegard
            Detjen Hildegard
            W. Detjen, 94, of Emden, died at 8:19 p.m. Tuesday, March 14, 2000,
            at Hopedale Medical Center in Hopedale. Funeral
            services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 17, at St. Peter’s
            Lutheran Church in Emden with the Rev. Darby Lawrence officiating. Burial
            will be at Hartsburg Union Cemetery in Hartsburg. Visitation
            will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church
            in Emden and one hour before the service at the church on Friday. Mrs.
            Detjen and her husband served Lutheran congregations in Courtland,
            Minn., and Chicago, as well as in Emden. She
            was born March 30, 1905, at Shakopee, Minn., a daughter of William
            and Elizabeth (Cords) Lange. She married the Rev. John Detjen Aug.
            30, 1922, at Shakopee, Minn. He died Feb. 20, 1962. Surviving
            are two sons, Detlef Detjen (and wife, Georgia) of Orland Hills and
            John Detjen (and wife, Mary) of Lincoln; one daughter, Dolores
            Chapman (and husband, Gene) of Emden; 14 grandchildren; 36
            great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren. She
            was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. John Detjen; one
            daughter, Hildegarde Meeker; one grandson, Steven Meeker; and her
            brother, the Rev. Fred Lange. She
            was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church of Emden and of the
            church’s Ladies Aid Society. She was also a member of the Oasis
            Senior Center in Lincoln. Her
            family indicates that she was a wonderful wife, mother and
            grandmother. Her faith was an inspiration to all of her family. She
            was very much loved and will be greatly missed by all. Memorials
            may be made to St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Emden, Good Shepherd
            Lutheran Church in Lincoln, or the Oasis Senior Center.
