the Hartem F/S Round Robin Volleyball Tournament on Saturday, Sept.
30.

Schedule:
All scheduled times are approximate. Each match will begin
approximately 10 minutes after the previous match has finished.
Participants need to be on time, as there are 10 matches.

Food:
A concession stand serving hot sandwiches, soft drinks, desserts,
candy, etc., will be available in the cafeteria throughout the day.
Admission:
The admission price will be $3 for everyone for all day.

Warm-up
times: Warm-up times for the first match of the day for each
team will be five minutes. Warm-ups will be five minutes, full
court, visitors; five minutes, full court, home team; and three
minutes serving. After that, warm-ups will be 2-2-2-2. (Rally points
on the third game)
Trophies:
A trophy will be awarded to the team with the best win/loss record
for the tournament. In case of a two-way tie, the winner will be the
team who won the match between the two tied teams. In case of a
three-way tie, the winner will be determined as follows: (1)
win/loss record; (2) total winning point spread (highest); (3) total
losing point spread (lowest).
Locker
rooms: Locker rooms are available but athletes must supply their
own locks and towels. Athletes are encouraged to lock up their
personal belongings. The host school is not responsible for any lost
or stolen items.

volleyball team notches a win
[SEPT.
28, 2000] The
Lincoln College volleyball team claimed its first win yesterday
night! They beat John Wood 15-4, 15-6, 16-3. Christine Lott had a
great game with 12 kills and two blocks. Candace Sheley, a Lincoln
native, really influenced the game with her 11 kills and seven digs.
Amanda Pikert had six kills and seven digs. Adie Harmon made four
kills, six digs and three aces. Bonnie Brown assisted her teammates
32 times and served two aces. Kara Avery also served up four aces.
