Lois Dingman

Lois M. Dingman, 85, of Mount Pulaski, formerly of Latham, died at 8 p.m. Thursday, March 29, 2001, at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Lincoln.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, April 2, at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mount Pulaski, with the Rev. Darrell Seest and the Rev. Marvin Mungle officiating.

Burial will be in Lake Bank Cemetery, rural Latham.

Visitation will be one hour before the service.

Mrs. Dingman was a homemaker.

She was born Aug. 9, 1915, in Laenna Township (rural Chestnut) to Ben E. and Grace C. (McBride) Faith. She married Harley Dingman on Jan. 4, 1936, in Latham. He died Oct. 12, 1987.

Surviving are two sons, Harold (Juanita) Dingman and Duane (Deana) Dingman of Latham; a great-grandchild; and two brothers, Bob (Doris) Faith and Carl (Rita) Faith of Latham.

Her husband, parents and three brothers preceded her in death.

She was a member of Latham Baptist Church.

Memorials may be made to her church or to Latham Fire Department.

Eady Jarrett

Eady May Jarrett, 91, of Lincoln died at 2:50 p.m. Tuesday, March 27, 2001, at Christian Village Special Care Unit.

A memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Sunday, April 1, at Jefferson Street Christian Church in Lincoln, with J.K. Jones officiating.

Another memorial service will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 2, at Fleming Garden Christian Church, 530 S. Taft St., Indianapolis, Ind.

There will be no visitation.

Mrs. Jarrett was a housewife.

She was born March 11, 1910, in Johnson County, Ind., to Ralph and Grace (Lester) McCoy. She married John D. Jarrett on Oct. 29, 1927, in Martinsville, Ind. He died Dec. 19, 1986.

Surviving are one daughter, Patsy (Robert A.) Wilson of Lincoln; two sons, Gene (Alice) Jarrett of Jekyll Island, Ga., and Ronald (Pam) Jarrett of Parachute, Colo.; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers and four sisters.

She was a member of Jefferson Street Christian Church. She was also a member of Eastern Star.

Memorials may be made to John D. Jarrett Scholarship Fund at Lincoln Christian College or to Jefferson Street Christian Church in Lincoln.
