            ‘Doc’ Renner Claude
            E. "Doc" Renner, 81, of Atlanta died at 11:44 p.m. Monday,
            Dec. 3, 2001, at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington. His
            funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 7, at the Atlanta
            United Methodist Church, with the Rev. David Venter officiating. Burial,
            with military rites accorded by the Atlanta American Legion Post
            341, will be in Atlanta Cemetery. Visitation
            will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Quiram Funeral Home, Atlanta,
            with Masonic rites at 8 p.m. Renner
            worked as a heavy equipment operator for R.A. Cullinan and Son,
            Tremont. He retired in 1991. He
            served in the Army Air Corps in World War II. He
            was born May 20, 1920, at Mount Pulaski to Guy and Louise Morris
            Renner. He married Lucille Lamb in 1942. Surviving
            are two daughters, Kathy Mountjoy of Bloomington and Susan (and
            Dave) Chinowth of Atlanta; five grandchildren, Meghan, Sean and Erin
            Mountjoy and Nick and Ashley Chinowth; and several nieces and
            nephews. He
            was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers. He
            was a member of Operating Engineers Local 965, the Atlanta American
            Legion, VFW and 40 et 8. He was a member and Past Master of the
            Atlanta Masonic Lodge 165 and served as secretary from 1971 to 1985.
            He also was a member of the Lincoln York Rite Bodies, Order of
            Eastern Star and White Shrine. He was an honorary member of Minier
            Comet Lodge 641, Clinton DeWitt Lodge 84, Mount Pulaski Lodge 87 and
            Delavan Lodge 156. He was also a member of the Atlanta United
            Methodist Church. Memorial
            contributions may be made to the Atlanta Public Library and Museum
            or to the Atlanta Rescue Squad.

            Leesman Lawrence
            F. Leesman, 92, of Atlanta died at 7:50 a.m. Monday, Dec. 3, 2001,
            at BroMenn Regional Medical Center in Normal. His
            funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, at the
            Quiram Funeral Home, Atlanta, with Andy Glass officiating. Burial
            will be in Atlanta Cemetery. Visitation
            will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Leesman
            had farmed in the Eminence Township area. He
            was born June 22, 1909, at Lincoln to Frederick and Louise Awe
            Leesman. He married Bernice Amberg on Nov. 10, 1934. Surviving
            are four sons, Raymond (and Irene) Leesman of Harrison, Ark., Roger
            (and Erma Jane) Leesman of Armington, Russell (and Geraldine)
            Leesman of Atlanta and Stanley (and Kathy) Leesman of Millstadt;
            three daughters, Frances Nollman of Atlanta, Sandra (and Michael)
            Beck of Atlanta and Connie (and Dale) Tammeus of Armington; 13
            grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He
            was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister. Memorial
            contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.     [to

            Adams Louise
            Steiling Adams, 82, of Atlanta died at 6:25 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4,
            2001, at the Christian Nursing Home in Lincoln. Her
            funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7, at the Atlanta
            Christian Church, with David Harmon officiating. Burial
            will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Waynesville. Visitation
            will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the church. Quiram
            Funeral Home, Atlanta, is in charge of arrangements. Mrs.
            Adams worked several years as a cook for the Olympia School
            District. She
            was born Nov. 7, 1919, at Waynesville to Holton and Emma Meachum
            Leever. She married John C. Steiling on Feb. 16, 1942, in Louisiana,
            Mo. He died Sept. 17, 1974. She married Leo W. Adams on Sept. 12,
            1980, in Atlanta. He died May 11, 1988. Surviving
            are two sons, Donald (and Susie) Steiling of Atlanta and Richard
            (and Christine) Steiling of Thiensville, Wis.; one daughter, Diana
            (and Grant) Breakville of Normal; five grandchildren; one
            great-grandson; eight stepgrandchildren; 16
            step-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Nelson Leever of Riverside,
            Calif., and Ted Leever of Lincoln; one sister, Marjorie Hickey of
            Decatur; and several nieces and nephews. She
            was also preceded in death by two brothers. She
            was a member of the Atlanta Christian Church and served as janitor
            there for 13 years. She was a former member of the Atlanta Woman’s
            Club. Memorial
            contributions may be made to the Atlanta Christian Church or to the
            Christian Nursing Home in Lincoln.

            Bradley Charles
            A. Bradley, 70, of San Jose died at 10:27 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 2, 2001,
            at his home. His
            funeral service will be at 8:15 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, at Hurley
            Funeral Home in San Jose, with the Rev. Marvin Lohrenz officiating. Burial
            will be in Springbay Cemetery, Springbay. Visitation
            will be from 6 to 8:15 Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Bradley
            was safety manager at Washington Electric Co. before his retirement. He
            was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War. He
            was born June 2, 1931, in Mason City to Chancy W. and Stella B.
            Dabbs Bradley. He married Patricia A. Peavler on July 9, 1980. She
            survives. Also
            surviving are two sons, Marty J. (and Jenny) Bradley of Springfield,
            Mo., and Kim A. (and "Tony") Bradley of Mason City; two
            stepsons, Bruce Hitch of Tampa, Fla., and Roy Hitch of Bloomington;
            one daughter, Darla K. Bradley of Atlanta, Ga.; one stepdaughter,
            Anne (and Jeff) Taylor of Clinton; and two grandchildren. He
            was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Thomas A.
            Bradley. He
            was a member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church of San Jose and the
            American Legion of Springbay. Memorials,
