Elizabeth
Kindred, 88, of Atlanta died at 2:30 a.m. Monday, July 30, 2001, at
her home.
Her
funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Atlanta
United Methodist Church. The Rev. David Venter will officiate.
Burial
will be in Hieronymus Cemetery, rural Armington.
Visitation
will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Quiram Funeral Home in
Atlanta.
Miss
Kindred retired in 1978 after 28 years with the Atlanta National
Bank. She also worked 14 years at the ASC office in Lincoln.
She
was born June 22, 1913, in rural McLean to William and Electa Wright
Kindred.
Surviving
are two brothers, Wendell Kindred and Robert Kindred, both of
Atlanta; one sister, Virginia Peplow of Normal; and several nieces
and nephews.
She
was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
She
was a member of the Atlanta United Methodist Church and of Gresham-Crutchley
American Legion Auxiliary in Atlanta.
Memorials
may be made to her church or to the Atlanta Rescue Squad.

Bradway
Henry
Vernon Bradway, 69, of Yellville, Ark., died Wednesday, July 25,
2001, at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home, Ark. He
lived in Illinois before moving to Marion County, Ark., 21 years
ago.
His
funeral service was at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 28, at Burns Funeral
Home in Yellville, Ark., with Pastor David Butler officiating.
Burial
was in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Yellville.
Bradway
was a machine operator in bottle manufacturing.
He
was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.
He
was born Dec. 25, 1931, at Eldon to Clifford Leroy and Catherine
Kerr Bradway. He married Diana Mae Dilley on Dec. 25, 1965.
Surviving
are his wife, Diana Bradway of Yellville, Ark.; two sons, Daniel
Johnson of Louisville, Texas, and David Johnson (and wife Lora) of
Montgomery; three daughters, Kathy Robinette of Charleston, Deborah
Hubich of Lincoln and Lynette Blackwood of Joplin, Mo.; four
sisters, Blanche Hoelscher, Betty Lindig, Alice Burton and Barbara
Beeler, all of Illinois; nine grandchildren; and one
great-grandchild.
He
was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and one sister.
He
was a member of Cotter VFW.

Beulah
B. Stopher, 92, of Mount Pulaski died at 6:01 a.m. Saturday, July
28, 2001, at Vonderlieth Living Center in Mount Pulaski.
Her
funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 1, at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader
Funeral Home in Mount Pulaski. John Robertson and Bill Shanle will
officiate.
Burial
will be in Mount Pulaski Cemetery.
Visitation
will be from noon to 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home in
Mount Pulaski.
Mrs.
Stopher was a homemaker for her family.
She
was born May 11, 1908, in Illini Township, rural Warrensburg, to
William and Celia Constant Poffenbarger. She married Charles W.
Stopher on Dec. 24, 1928, in Lincoln. He died in January of 1992.
Surviving
are three sons, John Stopher of Warrensburg, Harold Stopher of
Hephzibah, Ga., and J. Norman Stopher of Mount Pulaski; eight
grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
She
was also preceded in death by one son, one daughter, four brothers
and one sister.
She
was a member of Mount Pulaski Christian Church.

Wilson
Bernard
W. Wilson, 81, of Lincoln died at 7:47 p.m. on Thursday, July 26,
2001, at Dr. John Warner Hospital in Clinton.
His
funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 31, at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader
Funeral Home in Lincoln, with the Rev. Edward Higgins officiating.
Burial,
with military rites, will be in Keys Cemetery, Beason.
Visitation
will be one hour before the service at the funeral home.
Wilson
was a police officer in Montana. He also worked for Builders Supply
Co. in Lincoln and the Burns Detective Agency of Bloomington.
He
served in the U.S. Army from 1941 to 1945.
He
was born May 17, 1920, in Sudoros to William and Alta Wilson. He
married Martha Birkoski in Glasgow, Mont., on March 1, 1947.
Surviving
Wilson are his wife, of Lincoln; one son, Bud Wilson of Lincoln;
three daughters, Mary Higdon (and Terry Sablotny) of Lincoln, Sharon
Reed (and Frank) of Bloomington and Kathy Cantrell (and Ron) of
Mobile, Ala.; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He
was preceded in death by his parents, two sons, a half brother and a
half sister.
He
was a member of American Legion Post 263 in Lincoln.
