Lucy Hutchison

Lucy Kay Hutchison, 79, of Broadwell died at 2 a.m. Sunday, June 17, 2001, at Pana Community Hospital in Pana.

Her funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 21, at Holland and Barry Funeral Home in Lincoln. Jan Rose, pastor of Broadwell Christian Church, will officiate.

Burial will be in Kline Cemetery, Broadwell.

Visitation will be one hour before the service time at the funeral home.

Mrs. Hutchison was a homemaker for her family.

She was born Jan. 12, 1922, in Jackson, Ga., to Ernest and Rosa (Crumbley) Williams. She married James R. Hutchison in Jackson, Ga., on Nov. 25, 1945.

Surviving are two daughters, Linda Lyn Hopkins of Lincoln and Roseanna Rice of Mount Pulaski; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.


Jason Richner

Jason Seth Richner, 28, of Hillsboro, formerly of Mount Pulaski, died at 8:45 p.m. Thursday, June 14, 2001, at his home.

His funeral service will be at 9 a.m. Saturday, June 30, at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mount Pulaski, with the Rev. Ray Hudson officiating.

Burial will be in Laenna Cemetery, Chestnut.

There will be no visitation.

Richner was a superintendent at Naples, Fla., and Illinois golf courses.

He was born Nov. 5, 1972, in Canton to Michael and Jennifer Richner.

Surviving are his parents, of Mount Pulaski; one brother, Justin Richner of Mount Pulaski; his paternal grandparents, Ray and Perle Jo Richner of Chestnut; his maternal grandparents, Joseph and Wanda Brown of Lincoln; and his paternal great-grandmother, Gwendolyn Morris of Mount Pulaski.

Memorials may be made to the United Methodist Church in Lincoln or to the donor’s choice.

Max Correll Jr.

Max Correll Jr., 75, of Lincoln died at 1:15 a.m. Monday, June 18, 2001, at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital.

His funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 21, at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln, with the Rev. Larry Maffett officiating.

Burial, with full military rites, will be in New Union Cemetery, Lincoln.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Correll was dietary manager for 33 years at Lincoln Developmental Center.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the World War II and the Korean War.

He was born July 28, 1925, in Jacksonville to Max and Bertha (Dennis) Correll Sr. He married Edna L. Coop in Jacksonville on April 17, 1948. She died Dec. 2, 2000.

Surviving are one son, Mark Correll of Lincoln; two daughters, Pam (and Walt) Ellegood of Lincoln and Karen Cohen of Lincoln; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.

Rick ‘Ratso’ Anderson

Rick B. "Ratso" Anderson, 50, of Lincoln died at 3:01 p.m. Thursday, June 14, 2001, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.

His funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 19, at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln, with Rick Ball officiating. A Moose service will be conducted at 1:15 p.m.

Burial will be in New Union Cemetery, Lincoln.

Visitation will be from noon to the service time Tuesday at the funeral home.

Anderson was a lineman at Willamette Industries for 23 years.

He was born March 9, 1951, in Independence, Iowa, to Lloyd B. and Margaret (Wall) Anderson. He married Pamela Edwards. He later married Sharon Buss. At the time of his death, his former wife Debra Manus McCray was his fiancée.

Anderson is survived by his mother, Margaret Anderson of Lincoln; one son, Jason Taylor Anderson of Bettendorf, Iowa; three stepdaughters, Jessica Manus of San Jose and Amber and Terra Manus of Lincoln; one granddaughter, Madeline Jane Anderson; three stepgrandchildren; and one brother, Robbin G. Anderson of Lincoln.

He was preceded in death by his father and one brother.

He was a member of the Moose Lodge in Lincoln.
