Joseph
"Joe" Morrow, 77, of Lincoln died at 8:45 a.m. Monday,
Oct. 29, 2001, at his home.
His
funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 1, at Holy Family
Church in Lincoln, with Monsignor Edward Higgins officiating.
Burial,
with military rites, will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Lincoln.
Visitation
will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader
Funeral Home in Lincoln. A prayer service will be at 4 p.m.
Morrow
owned and operated Joe’s Auto Air and Sound for 28 years.
He
served in the U.S. Army Airforce 475th Fighter Group.
He
was born Aug. 4, 1924, in Lincoln to Ernest and Lula Dugan Morrow.
He married Dorothy Przykopanski in June 1946 in Lincoln. She
survives.
Also
surviving are nephews David Morrow of Lincoln and Dennis Morrow of
Bloomington and niece Linda Gephart of Lincoln, who were raised by
Joe and Dorothy Morrow; many other nieces and nephews; and three
sisters, Eleanor Huffman and Shirley (and husband Stan) Bruketa of
Lincoln and Norma Monrose of Michigan.
He
was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
He
was a member of Holy Family Church in Lincoln, American Legion Post
263, VFW, DAV, 40 N 8, AMVETS, Knights of Columbus (fourth degree)
and Lincoln Elks Lodge.
