Berneice
Gardner Siegrist, 91, of Mason City died at 9:45 p.m. Tuesday, Sept.
18, 2001, at Christian Village Nursing Home in Lincoln.
Mrs.
Siegrist was cremated. A graveside service will be at 11 a.m.
Saturday, Sept. 22, at Mason City Cemetery. Chaplain Ryan Edgecombe
will officiate.
There
is no visitation.
Mrs.
Siegrist operated Antique House 1860 in Mason City for 40 years.
She
was born April 6, 1910, at Sweetwater to Roy F. and Edith Alkire
Gardner. She married John Siegrist on Aug. 14, 1932. He died May 8,
1993.
Surviving
are two daughters, Sonja (and husband Kenneth) Lutz of Belle Glade,
Fla., and Royce (and David L.) Fore of Daphney, Ala.; nine
grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one sister, Josie
Mariuzza of San Jose.
She
was also preceded in death by one daughter, Norma Jean Cumby, and
one brother.
She
was a member of First Christian Church of Mason City and Mason City
Woman’s Club.
Memorial
contributions may be made to Christian Village Nursing Home in
Lincoln.
