Martha
P. Moore, 84, of Hallsville died at 8:10 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 27,
2001, at DeWitt County Nursing Home.
Her
funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 1, at Holy Family
Catholic Church in Lincoln, with Father Thomas Taylor officiating.
Burial
will be in Zion Cemetery, Lincoln.
Visitation
will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 30, at Holland and Barry
Funeral Home in Lincoln.
Mrs.
Moore was a nurse’s aide.
She
was born Sept. 26, 1917, in Eldorado to John and Mary Deltz Prehara.
She married Leslie W. Moore on April 10, 1939, in Eldorado. He died
Nov. 23, 1997.
Surviving
are three sons, John M. Moore and Dennis L. Moore of Lincoln and
Kenneth E. Moore of Milwaukee, Wis.; four daughters, Anita M. Moore
and Sara L. Moore of Lincoln, Delores J. Brockschmidt of Creal
Springs and Marjorie F. Moore of Monticello; 19 grandchildren; 22
great-grandchildren; and one sister, Dorothy Barlow of Watseka.
She
was also preceded in death by two sons, Wayne and Terry Moore; two
brothers, John and Leo Prehara; and two sisters, Cecelia Prehara and
Mary Huffstutler.
She
was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church.

Donald
Lahr
Donald
Lewis Lahr, 80, of Quincy died at 11:55 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 25,
2001, at the Illinois Veterans Home in Quincy.
A
graveside service, with military rites, will be at 1 p.m. Monday,
Oct. 1, at Camp Butler National Cemetery, Springfield, with the Rev.
Larry Maffett officiating.
Visitation
will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Holland and Barry Funeral Home in
Lincoln.
Lahr
was retired from the military. He served in the U.S. Army in World
War II and the Korean War.
He
was born April 9, 1921, in Lincoln to Earl and Elsie Hindman Lahr.
Surviving
are three brothers, Bill and Roy Lahr of Lincoln and Tony Lahr of
Nevada, and two sisters, Mary Kuhajda of Dwight and Eileen Fulk of
Lincoln.
He
was preceded in death by two brothers, Bob Lahr and Joe Lahr Sr.,
and two sisters, Dorothy Piacezesny and Mildred Pembrooke.
He
was of the Baptist faith.
He
was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Disabled American
Vets.
Memorials
may be made to Dr. Wayne J. Schall Hospice.

Robin
Klug, 51, of Lincoln died at 10:06 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 27, 2001, at
Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital.
Her
funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 1, at Holy Resurrection
Church, 207 Pekin St. in Lincoln. Bishop C. William Blythe III will
officiate.
Burial
will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Lincoln.
Visitation
will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 30, at the church.

Funeral Home in Lincoln is handling arrangements.
Mrs.
Klug was a clerical employee of the Department of Children and
Family Services for 20 years.
She
was born March 25, 1950, in Hollywood, Calif., to Wynn and Renee
Zucker Nathan. She married David Klug on Oct. 14, 1972, in LaCrosse,
Wis.
Surviving
Mrs. Klug are her husband, of Lincoln; two sons, Jesse N. Klug and
Michael Klug, both of Lincoln; and three sisters, Laurie (and
husband Jim) Durkin of Wilton, Conn., Jody (and Chipps) Monohan of
Seattle, Wash., and Dana (and Bill) Isaacs of Wilton, Conn.
She
was preceded in death by her parents.
She
was a member of Holy Resurrection Church.
Memorials
may be made to American Cancer Society or the lymphodema support
group of Springfield.
