John
Richard Sullivan, 68, of Lincoln died at noon Monday, April 8, 2002,
at his home.
Visitation
will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader
Funeral Home in Lincoln. The funeral service, also at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader,
will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday. Alan Dean will officiate.
Burial,
with military rites, will be in Zion Cemetery, Lincoln.
Sullivan
retired from Caterpillar Tractor and Tire Co. in 1995. He had been a
millwright in Mapleton.
He
was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War.
He
was born March 14, 1934, in Lincoln to William Irvin and Nelda
Yardley Sullivan. He married Wilfreida "Snooky" Huff in
Lincoln on March 13, 1955.
Surviving
Sullivan are his wife, of Lincoln; one son, Rickie (and Roni)
Sullivan of Lincoln; three daughters, Loralee (and Kevin) McCray of
Robinson, Julie Jackson of Mount Sterling and Angela (and Steve)
Price of Lincoln; six grandchildren and one step-grandchild; two
brothers, William and Herschel Sullivan, both of Spokane, Wash.; and
one sister, Delores Bale of Lincoln.
He
was a 33-year member of UAW Local 974.
Memorials
may be made to Wayne Schall Hospice.
