Helen D. Brosamer,
90, of Lincoln died at 4:25 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 4, 2002, at St. John’s
Hospice North in Springfield.
Visitation will be
from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Kerrigan-Peasley Funeral Home in
Lincoln. A rosary service will be at 5 p.m.
Her funeral Mass will
be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Family Church in Lincoln, with
Monsignor E. Edward Higgins officiating.
Burial will be in St.
Mary’s Cemetery, Lincoln.
Mrs. Brosamer retired
in 1975 after working 23 years at the Lincoln Garment Factory.
She was born Oct. 23,
1911, in Lincoln to John W. and Theresa Ohmes Pfeifer. She married
Raymond F. Brosamer on Aug. 19, 1933, in Peoria. He died May 13,
1950.
Survivors are Janet
(and Rex) Berger of Lincoln, Lowell (and Vivian) Brosamer of
Decatur, Patricia (and Thomas) Berger of Lincoln, Richard (and
Rosanne) Brosamer of Lincoln, Carol (and Sam) Yeazle of Lincoln and
Michael (and Janet) Brosamer of Lincoln; 28 grandchildren; 39
great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded
in death by four sisters and two brothers.
She was a 1931
graduate of Lincoln College.
Memorials may be made to Carroll Catholic
Grade School.
