Iva Ott
Iva Mae Ott, 80, died
at 7:10 a.m. Thursday, July 11, 2002, at Maple Ridge Health Care
Centre in Lincoln.
Her funeral will be
at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 13, at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral
Home in Lincoln. Visitation will be one hour before the service.
Burial will be in
Irish Grove Cemetery, Middletown.
She was born Nov. 6,
1921, in Logan County to Fred and Bessie Anderson Ott.
There are no
surviving family members. She was preceded in death by two brothers.
She was a member of
the Middletown Methodist Church.
Memorials may be made to the church.

Ervin Fiegel Sr.
Ervin H. Fiegel Sr., 60, died Monday, July 8, 2002, at his home in
Easton.
Hurley Funeral Home, Mason City, is in charge of arrangements.
Cremation rites have been accorded, and there will be no visitation.
A
service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 13, at Emmanuel Lutheran
Church in Rock Falls. Pastor Henrietta Milner will officiate.
Fiegel was a truck driver.
He
was born Aug. 7, 1941, in Wisconsin to Ervin and Viola Whitmer
Fiegel. He married Deborah Render on Oct. 26, 2001, in Easton. She
survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Brian Fiegel of Wisconsin, Ervin
Fiegel Jr. of New Holland and Joseph Fiegel of Clinton, Iowa; three
daughters, Kenda Brown of Lancaster, Ky., Dea Green of Winchester,
Ky., and Janine Fiegel of Wisconsin; six grandchildren; two
great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Nancy (and Melvin) Rose of
Florence, S.C., Rose (and John) Ennenga, of Polo, and Debbie (and
Lou) Gonzalez of Rock Falls.
He was preceded in
death by his parents.

Helen Kindred
Helen Marie Kindred, 66, of Lincoln
died at 9:37 p.m. Tuesday, July 9, 2002, at St. John’s North in
Springfield.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m.
Friday, July 12, at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.
The service, officiated by the Rev. Mark Carnahan, will follow at 7
p.m. at the funeral home.
Burial of cremains will be at 1:30 p.m.
Monday, July 15, at Atlanta Cemetery.
Mrs. Kindred was an employee of Eaton
Corporation in Lincoln for 32 years.
She was born Jan. 22, 1936, in Lincoln
to John Fredrick and Ethel Trobaugh Rice. She married Robert Kindred
on July 8, 1956, in Lincoln. He survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Randall
Kindred and Steven Kindred, both of Lincoln; one granddaughter,
Cassandra "Casie" Kindred of Lincoln; two sisters, Joyce (and Bill)
Brady of Temple Terrace, Fla., and Lois (and Hal) Lumas of O’Cala,
Fla.; and one brother, James (and Mary) Rice of O’Cala, Fla.
She was preceded in death by her
parents and two brothers, Bill and Robert Rice.
She was a member of Zion Lutheran
Church of Lincoln.
Memorials

Townsend Paine
Townsend W. "T.W."
Paine, 86, of Hopedale died at 9:18 a.m. Friday, July 5, 2002, at
his home.
A memorial service
will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 13, at the Hopedale United
Methodist Church. The Rev. Jim Thompson will officiate. Visitation
will be one hour before the service.
Quiram Funeral Home,
Atlanta, is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Paine was a
lifelong Tazewell County farmer.
He was born Nov. 9,
1915, near Hopedale to Clinton Ray and Miriam Sands Paine. He
married Mildred Iutzi on Jan. 30, 1944, at Stanford. She died in
April 1999.
Surviving are one
daughter, Maggie (and Jim) Thompson of Normal; six grandchildren,
Christine (and Greg) Wheet of Armington, Craig, Curtis and Claire
Paine of Armington, Terry Dodds of Springfield, Mo., and Geoffrey
(and Heidi) Dodds of Bloomington; one great-grandson, Michael Wheet
of Armington; and one brother, Arthur Wendell (and Alice) Paine of
Hopedale.
He was also preceded
in death by one son, John W. Paine; one brother, Wesley Paine; and
three sisters, Eloise Litwiller, Ruth Forbes and Evelyn Paine.
Memorial
contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
