Nancy Wolcott
Nancy Lorene Wolcott, 72, of Lincoln
died at 9:45 a.m. Friday, Oct. 11, 2002, at Vonderlieth Living
Center in Mount Pulaski.
There will be a graveside service at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Camp Butler National Cemetery, Springfield,
with Bill Shanle officiating.
There is no visitation. Holland and
Barry Funeral Home of Lincoln is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Wolcott was a homemaker for her
family. She had worked for Allis Chalmers and the Lincoln Christian
Nursing Home. She also owned and operated Nancy’s Play Pen.
She was born June 11, 1930, in Lincoln
to Luther and Nancy Garner Davis. She married Harry Lafe Wolcott on
June 18, 1955, at Buffalo. He died May 30, 1999.
Surviving are one son, Harry Randall
(and wife Angie) Wolcott of Lincoln; three grandchildren, Megan,
Dillon and Dayton Wolcott of Lincoln; four brothers, William Dupple
Davis of Stuttgartt, Ark., C.L. "Bus" Davis of Lincoln, Samual Davis
of Dawson and James Davis of Sullivan; and two sisters, Viola Yeazle
of Lincoln and Jean Goretski of Buffalo.
She was also preceded in death by one
brother, Dean Davis.
She was a member of Jefferson Street
Christian Church of Lincoln.
