Amelia Casstevens

Amelia M. "Millie" Casstevens, 85, of Lincoln died at 12:40 p.m. Friday, Oct. 18, 2002, at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.

Her funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader, with Tom Gerdts officiating.

Burial will be in Zion Cemetery, Lincoln.

Mrs. Casstevens retired from Stetson China Company.

She was born Feb. 16, 1917, in Lincoln to Valentine and Marie Krotz Kapik. She married Leo Rohlfs in 1936, and he died in 1952. She married Ralph Casstevens in Lincoln on April 23, 1955. He survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Gary Rohlfs of Lincoln and Lee Rohlfs of Anthem, Ariz.; one stepson, Robert Casstevens of Mendota; two stepdaughters, Paula Charlton of Fredrickstown, Mo., and Johanna Henson of Oakboro, N.C.; four grandchildren; 11 stepgrandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Albert (and Ruth) Kapik of Lincoln and John Kapik of Lincoln.

She was also preceded in death by one sister and one stepson.

She was a member of North American Benefit Association and Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. She volunteered at the Pink Shutter and Christian Nursing Home.

Memorials may be made to Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital or St. Clara’s Manor Nursing Home.
