Margaret Ingram
Margaret J. Ingram, 77, of Lincoln died
Thursday, April 17, 2003, at 10:56 p.m. at St. Clara's Manor.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m.
Monday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln. The
visitation follows a prayer service at 3:30 p.m.
Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday
at Holy Family Church in Lincoln. Father Thomas Taylor and Father
Richard Altine will officiate.
Burial will be in Zion Cemetery,
Lincoln.
Mrs. Ingram was a supervisor at Lincoln
Developmental Center before she retired.
She was
born July 23, 1925, in North Dakota to Paul and Leona Phelan Downey.
She married Harold A. Ingram on June 28, 1946, in Springfield.
Surviving are three sons, Harold R. (and Theresa) Ingram Jr. of
Crossville, Tenn., Edward F. (and Roberta) Ingram of Lincoln and
James Ingram of Lincoln; one daughter, Dorothy Cockrane of
Rochester, Ind.; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and two
sisters, Mary Ann (and Norman) Anderson of Normal and Jane (and Bob)
Minnick of Lincoln.
She was
a member of Holy Family Church in Lincoln and Women of the Moose
Lodge 1441.

Viola Richert
Viola Richert, 81, of Beason died Tuesday, April
15, 2003, at 10:05 p.m. at St. John's Hospital in Springfield.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.
Her funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at
Zion Lutheran Church in Lincoln, with the Rev. Mark Carnahan
officiating.
Burial will be in New Union Cemetery, Lincoln.
Mrs. Richert worked as a legal secretary for
Robert Humphrey, as a bookkeeper for Richert Electric and helped her
husband with farming.
She was born Feb. 4, 1922, in Beason to Gustuv C.
and Christine L. Budde Haseley. She married John H. Richert on April
11, 1948, in Lincoln. He survives.
Other survivors are two sons, Les (and Theresa)
Richert of Lincoln and Ken (and Karen) Richert of Beason; two
grandchildren; Jennifer (and Scott) Shaffer of Lincoln and Kathie
Huskins of Lincoln; two stepgrandchildren, Cathy (and Todd)
O'Donoghue of Lincoln and David Vale of Bloomington; two
great-grandchildren, Alexis and Kaycee Huskins, both of Lincoln;
five step-great-grandchildren, Ashley Bonaparte, Shaylyn and Nathan
O'Donoghue, all of Lincoln, and Lacy and Jordan Vale of Bloomington;
and one sister, Eileen Riggs of Lincoln.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Emory
"Herb" Haseley.
She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in
Lincoln and the Logan County Genealogical Society.
Memorials
may be made to Zion Lutheran School in Lincoln, the radio ministry
of Zion Lutheran Church in Lincoln or to a charity of the donor's
choice.

Lynn Blaum
H. Lynn Blaum, 92, of
New Holland died Thursday, April 17, 2003, at 8:20 a.m. at Memorial
Medical Center in Springfield.
His funeral will be
at 11 a.m. Monday at the United Methodist Church in New Holland,
with the Rev. Doug Rettig officiating. Visitation will be from 9 to
11 a.m. at the church.
Burial will be in
Richmond Grove Cemetery, rural New Holland.
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln is in charge of
arrangements.
Mr. Blaum was a
production line mechanic at Lehn and Fink in Lincoln before he
retired in 1975.
He served in the U.S.
Army during World War II.
He was born June 14,
1910, in New Holland to Harry and Anna Rose Hinck Blaum Sr. He
married Mildred Cunningham on June 12, 1941, in San Jose.
Surviving are his
wife, of New Holland; one son, John Lynn (and Sonia) Blaum of
Orlando, Fla.; two stepgrandchildren, Robert Toller of Orlando,
Fla., and Allison (and Dustin) Havens of Port Orange, Fla.; two
sisters, Mildred Beaver and Lenora Tibbs, both of Lincoln; and one
brother, Merle (and Dorothy) Blaum of New Holland.
He was preceded in
death by three brothers, Loren, Gilbert and Harry "Junior."
He was a member of
the United Methodist Church of New Holland, where he was Sunday
School treasurer for 30 years. He was also a member of American
Legion Post 715 at New Holland, the New Holland Fire Department and
served on the village board for 32 years.
