[JULY 21, 2003]  Rep. Bill Mitchell and Sen. Bill Brady presented honors to two central Illinois farmers last week. The farm owned by Jerry and Anita Gemberling of Emden has been named a Sesquicentennial Farm and the farm by owned Clarence Lee Baker of Eldon has been named a Centennial Farm.

To qualify, the agricultural property must be owned by a straight or collateral line of descendents for at least 100 years to be a Centennial Farm and at least 150 years to be a Sesquicentennial Farm.

Congratulations to both families!
