Margaret Utterback

Margaret Ellen Utterback, 96, of Mount Pulaski died Saturday (Aug. 9, 2003) at 9:04 p.m. at Maple Ridge Care Centre in Lincoln.

A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Mount Pulaski Cemetery. No visitation is scheduled.

Kerrigan-Peasley Funeral Home in Lincoln is in charge of arrangements.

She was born on March 22, 1907, in Mount Pulaski to Mr. and Mrs. James Ellenburg. She married William Chester "Andy" Utterback. He preceded her in death.

Survivors of Mrs. Utterback are one son, John (and Shirley) Utterback of Mount Pulaski; one daughter, Betty (and Robert) Jackson of Lincoln; seven grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.

Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.

Marjorie Klemm

Marjorie S. Klemm, 77, of Decatur died Sunday (Aug. 10, 2003) at 12:35 p.m. at Lincoln Manor Nursing Home in Decatur.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Holland and Barry Funeral Home in Lincoln.

Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Holland and Barry, with Tom Gerdts officiating.

Burial will be in Zion Cemetery, Lincoln.

Mrs. Klemm was a secretary at First National Bank in Lincoln before she retired.

She was born Jan. 18, 1926, in Elmwood to Howard and Louise Shissler Schlots. She married Clarence Klemm on Oct. 7, 1945, in Elmwood. He preceded her in death.

Survivors are three sons, Wayne Klemm (and Joyce) of Torrance, Calif., Bruce Klemm (and Linda) of Huntington Beach, Calif., and David Klemm (and Linda) of Decatur; 10 grandchildren; one brother, Donald Schlots (and Jean) of Smithville, N.J.; and one sister, Martha Hudson of Elmwood.

Mrs. Klemm was a member of Lincoln Christian Church and the PEO.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
