Stops on the tour
include the Family Maternity Suites and Women's Health Unit, which
was opened in August 2001 after an eight-month renovation project on
the entire third floor. Guests will also have a chance to view the
renovations and additions to the ALMH Surgery, which was reopened in
2000, as well as the newest diagnostic visioning equipment in the Radiology
Department.
The tour will
conclude in the new 6,178-square-foot Rehab Unit on the first floor,
where guests will have an opportunity to sample some heart-healthy
treats prepared by the ALMH dietary staff.
"This will be an
excellent opportunity for those who have not visited ALMH for
several years to see how our facilities have evolved into a
state-of-the-art community medical center," says Marty Ahrends,
executive director of community development at ALMH.
