            "Once
Upon a Christmas Dream" will be this year's presentation at the
            annual "Christmas in
the Chapel" on the campus of Lincoln Christian College. Over the course of four days, more than
6,000 people attend the holiday production in the Earl C Hargrove
Chapel Auditorium. The Dec. 4-7 presentations will feature
the 70-voice Lincoln Christian College Chorale and members of the
youth choir from the First Christian Church in Clinton. |

            The dramatic and musical presentation
of "Once Upon a Christmas Dream" is a fairy tale set in a medieval
Christmas kingdom ruled by a benevolent Christmas king. All is well
in the Christmas kingdom until a mysterious stranger arrives with a
box of holiday treasures, opening a Pandora's box in the kingdom.
Through the use of music, drama and
multimedia elements, over 100 LCC students tell the biblical account
            of the birth of Jesus.
The musical production will be directed
by music professor Jeff Colleen and assisted by other members of the
music ministry faculty: Linda Storm, Sue Jones, Jim Allison and
Issac Gaff. Tom Sowers, director of video productions at LCC, will
direct the multimedia elements and staging.
