[DEC.
17, 2003]
The Salvation Army announced
Monday (Dec. 15) that it is running behind in its kettle drive. The
target is $25,000, and at this point less than one-third of that
amount has been raised: $8,100.

The kettle drive is crucial because it
helps to provide funding for the Salvation Army assistance programs
all year-round. The assistance offered is varied and includes things
such as food vouchers, utility assistance, medicines, disaster
services and rentals.
The
donations given locally are used in Logan County.
