Bobby A. Pruitt, 72,
of Stonington died Friday, Jan. 3, 2003, at 3:52 p.m. at Danville
Veterans Hospital.
His funeral will be
at 2 p.m. Monday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mount
Pulaski, with Bill Shanle officiating. Visitation will be one hour
before the service.
Burial will be in
Constant Cemetery, rural Cornland.
Mr. Pruitt was a tool
and die maker.
He served in the U.S.
Air Force from 1946 to 1947.
He was born April 21,
1930, in Springfield, Mo., to Edward and Inez Humphries Pruitt. He
married Martha Nilhas in Springfield, Ill., on March 8, 1952.
Surviving Mr. Pruitt
are his wife, of Stonington; one son, Leonard (and Angela) Pruitt of
Taylorville; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in
death by his parents and one daughter, Regina Pruitt.
He was a member of
Cornland Christian Church, Stonington American Legion Post 905,
Disabled American Veterans Decatur Chapter and Stephen Decatur
Masonic Lodge 979.
