[NOV. 5, 2003]  The Oasis, Logan County's senior citizen center, 501 Pulaski St. in Lincoln, is open weekdays (except holidays) from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The center is also open on Friday and Sunday nights for table games. Dominic Dalpoas is the executive director. Activities are open to all Logan County senior citizens, regardless of membership.

Bingo

The regular first Thursday bingo at 1 p.m., sponsored by Maple Ridge, includes snacks, games and lots of fun

Tuesday lunch program

Reservations are due by noon Friday for the lunch on Tuesday, Nov. 11. Baked ham with green beans, salad, bread and butter is only $3.50.

Closed Monday for Veterans Day

The Oasis will be closed Nov. 10 in remembrance of our veterans. Join us on Tuesday, Nov. 11, for lunch and regular activities.

Circuit Breaker appointments

Call 732-6132 if you need assistance with your Circuit Breaker application. You may schedule an appointment for Tuesday, Nov. 11, between 1 and 3 p.m.

Holiday bazaar

Start your holiday shopping Nov. 13-15 at the senior center. The gift shop is stocked with new items that will make very special gifts for all those special people on your list. Stop in each day between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Winners

Iona Fulscher and Christine March won weekly pinochle honors, and Pauline Boward won weekend pinochle honors. Ann Greger and Tom Garrison were the lucky 5 in 1 winners.
