Wilham
Timothy C. Wilham, 44, of Mount Pulaski
died Tuesday (Oct. 7, 2003), at 11:30 p.m. at Abraham Lincoln
Memorial Hospital.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m.
Friday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mount Pulaski.
His funeral will be at 10:30 a.m.
Saturday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader in Mount Pulaski, with John
Robertson and Bill Shanle officiating.
Burial will be in Steenbergen Cemetery.
Mr. Wilham was a maintenance man.
He was born Oct. 19, 1958, in Lincoln
to C. Wayne and Mabel Holmes Wilham. He married Charity F. McDonough
on March 9, 1998, in Lincoln.
Survivors are his wife, Charity Wilham,
of Mount Pulaski; one son, Matthew C. (and Mamie) Wilham of Lincoln;
one daughter, Andrea L. Hanna of Mount Pulaski; two grandchildren,
Darian and Mathew Dawson, both of Lincoln; his parents, of Mount
Pulaski; and one sister, Diana (and Jerry) Stoll of Chestnut.
He was preceded in death by his
grandparents, Cecil and Louise Wilham and Earl and Helen Holmes.
He was a member of Mount Pulaski
Christian Church.

Robert Simpson
Robert W. Simpson, 80, of Lincoln died
Thursday (Oct. 2, 2003) at 4:25 a.m. at Abraham Lincoln Memorial
Hospital.
He was cremated, and there was no
visitation.
A graveside service and military rites
were on Thursday morning at Irish Grove Cemetery,
Middletown. Father Edward Higgins officiated.
Mr. Simpson had worked at Pittsburg
Plate Glass Co. in Lincoln.
He served in the U.S. Air Force from
1942 to 1943.
He was born Aug. 30, 1923, in
Covenington, Ky., to James and Katy Mae Hooker Simpson. He married
Oca Lorene Sparks on Sept. 9, 1952, in Jacksonville. She died March
21, 1987.
He was also preceded in death by two
sons, one daughter and his brothers and sisters. He was the last of
his immediate family.
He is
survived by caretakers Judy Crosier and Shirley Skelton and by
several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Fenton Breene
Fenton J. Breene, 84,
of Middletown died Tuesday (Oct. 7, 2003) at 1:57 p.m. in the
emergency room at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital.
A prayer service at 5
p.m. Thursday at Holland and Barry Funeral Home will be followed by
visitation until 8 p.m.
His funeral will be
at 10 a.m. Friday at Holland and Barry, with Monsignor Edward
Higgins officiating.
Burial, with military
rites, will be in Irish Grove Cemetery, Middletown.
Mr. Breene worked as
an inspector at Caterpillar in East Peoria.
He was a U.S. Army
veteran of World War II.
He was born March 7,
1919, in Adams, Wis., to John E. and Freida (Hoeft) Breene. He
married Barbara Agnew on May 21, 1946, in Adams, Wis. She survives.
Other survivors are
three daughters, Debora Myrick (and Dennis) of Scottsdale, Ariz.,
Ramona Schickling (and William) of Williamsville, N.Y., and Melissa
Trafton (and Michael) of Joliet; six grandchildren; two
great-grandchildren; and three brothers, John Breene of Adams, Wis.,
William Breene of Wisconsin and James Breene of Wisconsin.
He was a member of
St. John's Catholic Church in Middletown for most of his life and
then attended St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Elkhart.
He was also a member
of the Middletown American Legion and the Knapp-Chesnut-Becker
Historical Society. He was bicentennial commissioner and tree
commissioner of Middletown and served as village clerk for many
years.
