Encouraged by Teri Graybill-Jones' letter Send a link to a friend From Kathy Cummings [APRIL 9, 2005] I wasn't sure where to respond to Teri's wonderful message left on your website, regarding her daughter Ashley Jones. ["Letter of faith in God as healer"]My son David was diagnosed in May 2003 with glioblastoma. He had surgery to remove it all... and it did grow back a year later (May 2004) despite radiation and chemo. We have had tons of people praying, and it's true, they (doctors) all tell you there is no hope. The second time they gave my son three to six months to live. He's still here, on his second protocol from Duke, with no sign of new tumor. I pray constantly. The next MRI is around April 21. Teri's letter helped me so much. Whatever God’s plan is, it will be. I just pray he gives David a chance to live his life; he's a wonderful child. To see more on David and his journey, go to www.caringbridge.org/fl/david. Thank you, Send your church announcements and articles to ldneditor@lincolndailynews.com.
