LINCOLN -- Elizabeth "Beth"
Ann Stark, 53, formerly of Mason City, died Monday, April 18,
2005, at 9:35 p.m. at Maple Ridge Care Centre.
The family will meet at Hurley
Funeral Home in Mason City at 10 a.m. for a short visitation,
followed by a graveside service at 10:30 a.m. at Mason City
Cemetery. The Rev. Ed Maddox, retired pastor of St. Paul's
United Church of Christ in Petersburg, will officiate.
Beth, the third daughter of
Paul L. and Marilynn K. Wible Stark, was born July 31, 1951,
at Deaconess Hospital in Lincoln. She lived in Mason City
until 1970, when her parents moved to Lincoln and she became a
day-care enrollee at the Lincoln Developmental Center. In 1984
she transferred to North Kickapoo Home, a family-style care
facility in Lincoln. As her health began to fail, she entered
Maple Ridge Care Center in September 2004.
She is survived by her father,
Paul, and his wife, M. Catherine Geriets Stark of Sherman; two
sisters, M. Diana Stark Vest of Richardson, Texas, and Gloria
Suzanne Stark Stith of Clinton; and three nephews, Jason P.
Stith, Gabriel Stith and Sultana Vest.
She was preceded in death by
her mother, Marilynn, in 1994.
Memorials may be made to the
North Kickapoo Home Residents Activity Fund.

LINCOLN -- Norma Jean Ubbenga,
75, of Lincoln, died Monday, April 18, 2005, at St. John's
Hospice in Springfield.
Her funeral will be at 2 p.m.
Thursday at Bennett Funeral Home in Lincoln. Billy Joe Shanle
will officiate. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 1
p.m. until the service time.
Burial will be in Hartsburg
Union Cemetery.
She was born July 1, 1929, at
Lake Fork to William "Bill" and Bessie Sherwood Koehler.
She married George M. Ubbenga
on Oct. 24, 1970.
She is survived by her
husband; three children, Jennifer A. Diers (and husband Jay)
of Springfield, Connie Lee Buckles of Georgia and Steven O.
Letterle (and wife Carrie) of North Carolina; nine
grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Betty
Johnson, Della Mae Bradley and Shirley Linger; and three
brothers, Arnold "Mike" Koehler, Dave Koehler and William "Pudge"
G. Koehler.
She was preceded in death by
her parents; two brothers, Edward Koehler and Harold "Hap"
Koehler; and one sister, Linda Gressel.
In lieu of flowers, memorials
may be given to St. John's Hospice in Springfield.

LINCOLN --
Teddy Lewis Sapp, 78, of Lincoln, died Saturday, April 16,
2005, at 9:15 a.m. at his home.
A graveside
service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 23, at New Union
Cemetery, with the Rev. R. Anthony Lee officiating.
There will
be no visitation.
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home of Lincoln handled
arrangements.
Mr. Sapp was
a technician at Lincoln Developmental Center.
He was born
Jan. 28, 1927, in Lincoln to John and Mamie Elizabeth Cassell
Sapp Sr.
He is
survived by a foster grandson, Richard Bowice of Lincoln, and
several nieces and nephews.
He was
preceded in death by his parents and 12 brothers and sisters.
He was a
member of Holy Family Church in Lincoln
Memorials
may be made to the family, in care of Fricke-Calvert-Schrader
Funeral Home.
