St. Peter Lutheran activities planned Send a link to a friend [AUG. 6, 2005] EMDEN -- St. Peter Lutheran Church in Emden, Lincoln's Immanuel Lutheran and Hartsburg's St. John's Lutheran Church are planning a day of fun and fellowship for men, women and youth. The sixth annual golf outing begins at 1 p.m. Aug. 21 at the Atlanta golf course. The cost is $16 per person, which includes green fees, cart and prizes. The management is going to try to give the group a modified shotgun start so there won't be too much difference in time at the finish. Teams will be organized with people of varying ability. Prizes will be awarded for longest drive, longest putt and so on. After the game, there will be a potluck at Immanuel in Lincoln. Meat and drinks will be provided, and participants are asked to bring a dish to pass. A sign-up sheet is in the narthex at St. Peter. For more information, call Leonard Krusemark at (217) 376-3234 or Tom Komnick at (217) 376-3145. Each day kids will sing catchy songs, play teamwork-building games, nibble "watering hole" snacks, take on a "Daily Challenge" to let God’s love grow into their homes, experience electrifying Bible adventures and create "Bible Point" crafts they’ll take home and play for the rest of the summer. Come and join us "Where Kids Are Wild About God."
