LINCOLN -- Martin Allen Reese, 47, of Lincoln died Thursday,
Aug. 25, 2005, at 8:10 p.m. at his home.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln. His funeral
will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with Tom
Gerdts officiating.
Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery, Springfield.
Mr. Reese was a senior technician for Thompson Electronics
in Peoria.
He was born Dec. 1, 1957, in Carbondale to Wallace H. and
Nancy Benedict Reese.
He is survived by his parents, of Lincoln, and four
brothers, Scott (and Vicki) Reese of Athens, David Reese of
Lincoln, Richard (and Carol) Reese of Springfield and
Kenneth Reese (and his fiancee, Sara Thies) of Lincoln).
He was a member of Westside Christian Church in Springfield
and the Illinois Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. He was a
strong supporter of various charities.

LINCOLN -- Donald E. Sank, 76, of Lincoln died Thursday,
Aug. 25, 2005, at 2 p.m. at his home.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.
His funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Zion Lutheran
Church, with the Rev. Mark Carnahan officiating.
Burial will be in Union Cemetery.
Mr. Sank farmed for many years and had worked for the
state of Illinois in food management.
He was a Korean War veteran.
He was born Oct. 4, 1928, in Logan County to Harry C.W.
and Lois I. Dennis Sank. He married Helen Mayberry
Cunningham on Nov. 25, 1954, in Springfield.
He is survived by his wife, of Lincoln; two sons, Randall
(and Roseann) Sank of Lincoln and John Cunningham of Normal;
one daughter, Rebecca Sank of Lincoln; five grandchildren,
John R. Cunningham, Monica McAfee, James Babbs, Veronica
Randell and Ty Sank; three great-grandchildren, Chase and
Joey McAfee and Grace Randell; one brother, Carl (and June)
Sank of Fort Wayne, Ind.; and one sister, Judy Vincent of
Lincoln.
He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Lincoln, VFW
Post 1756 and American Legion Post 263.
Memorials may be made to Zion Lutheran Church in Lincoln,
Hospice Care of Illinois or the donor's choice.
