MOUNT PULASKI -- Julia M. Beccue, 93, of Mount Pulaski died
Monday, Aug. 29, 2005, at 11:10 p.m. at Abraham Lincoln
Memorial Hospital in Lincoln.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mount Pulaski. Her
funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with
the Rev. Glenn Strohschein officiating.
Burial will be in Mount Pulaski Cemetery.
Mrs. Beccue was a homemaker.
She was born Aug. 5, 1912, at Altamont to John and Anna
Kruger Stuemke. She married Arnold F. Beccue in Altamont on
Feb. 10, 1935. He died Jan. 23, 1973.
She is survived by three sons, Ralph (and Phyllis) Beccue of
Mount Pulaski, Larry (and Marinda) Beccue of Warrensburg and
Donnie (and Sharon) Beccue of Mount Pulaski; one daughter,
Diana (and George) Campbell of Maroa; three grandchildren;
three great-grandchildren; and one sister, Lillian Schroll
of Springfield.
She was also preceded in death by four brothers.
She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church of Mount Pulaski.
Memorials may be made to her church, Mount Pulaski EMS or
Vonderlieth Living Center.

MOUNT PULASKI -- Norma I. Goodman, 78, died Monday, Aug. 29,
2005, at 5:45 a.m. at Vonderlieth Living Center.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mount Pulaski. Her
funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home,
with Jeremy Thomason and Bill Shanle officiating.
Burial will be in Steenbergen Cemetery.
Mrs. Goodman was a homemaker.
She was born Dec. 13, 1926, at Chestnut to Ahijah and Lola
Reynolds Green. She married Sheldon Goodman in St. Louis,
Mo., on June 27, 1942. He died Feb. 11, 2002.
She is survived by two sons, Leon Goodman of Denver, Colo.,
and Richard (and Sally) Goodman of Taylorville; two
daughters, Loretta (and Ron) Merold of Mount Pulaski and
Jane (and Pat) McDonnough of Mount Pulaski; a son-in-law,
Dennis Beggs of Mount Pulaski; 12 grandchildren; 13
great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; two
brothers, Gene Green of Springfield and Donald (and Peggy)
Green of Springfield; and three sisters, Ruby Agnew of
Decatur, Louise Blankenship of Springfield and Joyce
Robinson of Springfield.
She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Marilyn
Beggs; one granddaughter; two brothers; and one sister.
She was a member of Mount Pulaski Christian Church.
Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association
or American Kidney Foundation.
