Rt. 121 crash sends three to hospitals       Send a link to a friend

[DEC. 03, 2005]  LINCOLN -- A Friday evening accident involving three vehicles on Rt. 121 2 miles west of Potter Road occurred at 6:45 p.m. A southbound car driven by Sarah S. Seelye, 20, of Decatur first side swiped a northbound truck and then struck another northbound vehicle. Seelye was driving a 1996 Chevrolet. The sideswiped vehicle was a 1999 Ford pickup driven by Troy L Stanberry, 28, of Mason City and the vehicle she struck was a 1999 Ford Explorer driven by Rhonda S. Karr, 38.

Seelye was extricated from her vehicle and was airlifted to Memorial Medical Center for treatment. Stanberry and the occupants in his vehicle were not injured. Karr and an un-named passenger were treated and released at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital.

Seelye was cited for Improper Lane Usage.
