Zion Lutheran Christmas worship services Send a link to a friend [DEC. 22, 2005] Zion Lutheran Church in Lincoln has scheduled two worship services on Christmas Eve and one on Christmas Day. A 6:30 p.m. candlelight service and an 11 p.m. candlelight service with Holy Communion will be on Saturday night, with the Rev. Mark Carnahan preaching on "God Sent a Boy to Do a Man’s Job." Vicar Mike Stock’s sermon topic at the 9 a.m. service on Christmas Day will be "The Angels’ Song to the Shepherds" The 6:30 Christmas Eve service will be broadcast at 8 a.m. Sunday on WLLM-AM 1370. State, will celebrate Christmas beginning with a children's program on Sunday, Dec. 18, at 10 a.m. The final Sunday of Advent will be observed with children continuing the lighting of the Advent wreath and telling the Christmas message through music. A Christmas Eve candlelight service will be at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 24. Christmas morning will be celebrated with a service at 10 a.m. All are invited to celebrate with the congregation.
